A Teacher Training College is now called a institute of Education because Training is somewhat mechanical and narrow, whereas education is a wider concept: comprehensive and broad-based. We train animals, but we educate human beings.

MAA GAYATRI BEd College is located in a natural environment, away from the noisy atmosphere of a crowded city. Open space and greenery all around the campus, coupled with vast play-fields, well-equipped laboratories and library, housed in a beautiful building, make the MAA GAYATRI BEd College somewhat distinct and unique. I firmly believe that Education is not merely acquiring knowledge, gathering and correlating facts; it is to see the significance of life as a whole. Bertrand Russell's 'mantra' of good life vis-s-vis of good education is, "that which is guided by knowledge and inspired by love". We shall sincerely endeavour to realise these lofty ideals, of course, with the help of our dedicated faculty and guidance of visionary management. Development of excellent communication skill is in the heart of MAA GAYATRI BEd College. Since we are going to produce teachers they should be gifted with interactive skills. This will help them communicate with their pupils in a more vibrant and innovative way.

We believe in all round holistic development of our students. There will be stress on cultural and extra curricular activities. The students should be ready to take the world head on and equally should be ready to serve the society and nation.

The whole purpose of our education is to develop important life skills which will make individuals resilient , confident and independent .
